What is the Sunday morning service like?

Our services start at 10:30 AM and usually end by 11:45 AM. There is singing for about 30 minutes, then a special performance by someone in the congregation, and then the sermon. There is prayer and then dismissal.

Is there childcare during church/the main service?

Yes! Our nursery (birth through 2 years) opens at 9:15 AM for Sunday School and ends after the morning service is complete. Our nursery workers have experience working with children and are background-checked.

What should I wear?

Your comfort is important to us! Some people in the congregation wear jeans and others wear a dress/suit. Dress in what allows you to worship comfortably.

A quick note about giving money…

As a visitor of Elm Street, you shouldn’t feel obligated to contribute to our church during the tithe collection. If you feel led to give money to our church, do so. If you don’t feel led to give, do not feel pressured to. We desire your time at ESBC to be one of learning about and worshipping God—not to be distracted by giving money.
